APPETIZERS
DIP MIXES:
To jazz up the Vermont Farmhouse Onion Mix , try adding some chopped spinach and chopped red pepper.
The Spicy Garlic Dip Mix will really stand out with some chopped bacon bits.
The Maple Ginger Wasabi Mix has a great flavor to begin with, to add extra flavor, try adding some chopped red pepper, green pepper, and onion. This can be added to the Garlic Red Pepper Mix as well.
CREAM CHEESE WITH APPETIZER JELLIES OR CHUTNEY:
Vermont Harvest Pineapple Pepper Jelly, Jalapeno Pepper Jelly, Smokin' Garlic Tomato Spread, or any chutney.
8 oz. Cream cheese
Place block of cream cheese on serving platter. Cover cream cheese with jelly or chutney and serve with assorted crackers. Replenish as needed with more topping.
TOMATO CHUTNEY IDEAS:
Mix 1 cup sour cream with 3 tbsp. Tomato Chutney. Serve with crackers or raw veggies as a dip.
Microwave above mixture on high for about a minute or until just heated through. Pour over grilled chicken or swordfish. An easy gourmet sauce!
Quick Tips for VERMONT HARVEST PEPPER JELLIES:
- Use as a dipping sauce for egg rolls, fondue, chicken wings or fried shrimp.
- Use as a condiment with lamb, poultry, beef or ham.
- Great as a glaze for chicken or Cornish game hens.
- Use as a spread for sandwiches.
- Mix with cottage cheese for a quick low-cal lunch.
- Don't forget the obvious - serve jams and conserves on your morning toast or in an omelet.
- Add 2 tbsp Jalapeno Pepper Jelly to your favorite cornbread recipe!

BREAKFAST
PANCAKE MIXES:
Several people have told me that since they have tried our pancake mixes, they will never eat another mix again. They are full of flavor and very easy to make. Try these ideas to add a little something extra to our great mixes. You will have the perfect breakfast for the entire family.
Blueberry mix : Add some fresh blueberries or chopped apples to add some extra flavor to the mix.
Apple Cinnamon mix : Add some chopped apples and walnuts to this mix to make hearty pancakes for your weekend breakfast.
Buttermilk : Adding fruit such as bananas, apples, or blueberries will really liven this mix up.
LUNCH
SOUPS:
To add some extra flavor to our Cheddar Soups, add some chopped potatoes and fresh broccoli or asparagus. This will create a hearty soup for the entire family.
To spruce up our Corn Chowder, try adding some potatoes, cod, or crabmeat. This soup has incredible flavor when seafood is added to it.
DINNER
MAPLE BARBEQUE SAUCE:
Place some Maple Barbeque Sauce on your steak before grilling. Add some Spicy Garlic Dip and Seasoning Mix and your steak will have super flavor. Match the steak up with our garlic mashed potatoes recipe in our main recipe section.
Add the barbeque sauce to your chicken wings and broil them in the oven. Top with some chopped chives and dip them in our Maple Wasabi Dip. This is a great snack for when you are watching an afternoon baseball game.
DESSERT
CHEESECAKES:
When making the Lemon Blueberry Cheesecake , add fresh blueberries to the mix and a can of blueberries to the top of the cheesecake. This will liven up the blueberry flavor and make a beautiful presentation.
To add a special touch to the Tiramisu Cheesecake , add shaved chocolate to the top of the cheesecake. It looks great and adds a sweet flavor to the mix.
You can do a lot with the Pineapple/Coconut Cheesecake Mix . Try adding orange peel and coconut to the mix and topping it off with a can of crushed pineapple. This will really bring out the flavor of the cheesecake.
